By leveraging partnerships, data, and cross‑functional collaboration, you will help ensure that UCB reaches patients who are too often left behind.
Who you’ll work with
You will collaborate closely with global, regional, local, and asset teams across the UCB value chain, as well as with various external stakeholders. You will also represent UCB in external health equity forums and roundtables.
What will you do
Provide matrix leadership to expand timely outreach to underserved populations.
Design and launch business models with a health equity focus.
Use data insights to identify underserved groups and barriers to access.
Build and manage strategic partnerships across sectors.
Develop financial plans, oversee P&L, track KPIs, and ensure sustainability.
Lead pilots and support scaling of effective solutions.
Establish a centre of excellence for best practices in health equity.
Ensure execution, transparency, and compliance with standards.
Communicate health equity initiatives aligned with corporate strategy.
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience, and skills:
Master’s degree required; MBA or PhD preferred
We are looking for a senior profile in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries, including health equity, commercial, or external engagement roles
Global mindset with experience across EU, US, Japan, China, or International Markets
Several years of leadership experience in multidisciplinary and/or matrix environments, ideally with P&L responsibility
Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and financial literacy
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior internal and external stakeholders
Experience developing innovative, impact‑driven initiatives within complex healthcare ecosystems
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate strategy into action
