Make your mark for patients
UCB is seeking a Technical CMC Partner to act as the regional owner and leadership voice for CMC across multiple assets and lifecycle stages.
The role requires strong leadership, strategic influence, and technical authority skills, shaping CMC decisions from clinical development through commercialization phases, for Chemical and Biological entities.
Leading complex topics through influence (not hierarchy), experienced CMC professional will be ready for fast onboarding, and short term high visibility, autonomy, and impact in a global matrix environment.
The Role Requires
- Strong leadership, easiness for communication and influencing stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to think holistically, balance risk and value, and make decisions under uncertainty.
- Extensive experience in CMC within a regulated pharmaceutical environment, with demonstrated exposure to regional and global governance.
- Proven ability to rapidly operate with high autonomy, ownership, and accountability
- Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and leading complex topics.
- Advanced scientific education.
- Fluent English; ability to work confidently across cultures and regions.

Key Accountabilities
- Act as the single regional CMC point of accountability, representing the consolidated “country/region voice” toward other senior stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment between regional regulations, market needs, and global CMC strategy, translating local insights into value‑driven technical recommendations.
- Maintain a holistic cross‑asset portfolio view, to proactively highlight risks, priorities, dependencies, and business impact.
- Drive regional reliable decision‑making by influencing trade‑offs with a risk‑based, pragmatic, and patient‑centric mindset.
On a daily based activities
- Lead and steer cross‑functional teams (CMC, Regulatory, Quality, Supply, Development).
- Animate technical forums, workshops, and communication platforms to ensure alignment, transparency, and timely escalation.
- Serve as an active contributor to Technical communities, sharing best practices and strengthening organizational maturity.
- Monitor execution, anticipate constraints, and ensure delivery against objectives, timelines, and other expectations.
- Ensure compliance and readiness, supporting audits, inspections, and health authority interactions when required.
- Promote continuous improvement, efficiency, and harmonization while respecting regional specificities
