Your Key Accountabilities
- Delivers expert work in EHS with high quality and timeliness, applying best practices and standards.
- Owns complex tasks in EHS regulations & procedures, environmental compliance and/or sustainability producing accurate outputs and identifying risks or anomalies proactively.
- Analyzes problems, recommends options, and implements improvements in methods, tools, or data flows.
- Collaborates with adjacent teams and stakeholders, communicating insights and recommendations clearly.
- Mentors less experienced colleagues, reviewing deliverables and elevating team standards.
- Develops and executes specific EHS and/or Safety domain(s).
Who we are looking for
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Specialist/Manager to lead and support Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives at our site. In this role, you will drive safety performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
You’ll act as a key advisor to site leadership, partnering closely with operations, technical teams, and global centers of expertise to ensure a safe, compliant, and high-performing workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor safety performance, KPIs, and reporting
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with legal and EHS requirements; maintain documentation and audit readiness
- Coordinate risk assessments and track mitigation actions
- Deliver EHS training and promote a strong safety culture
- Serve as site EHS advisor and lead cross-functional collaboration
- Manage emergency preparedness plans and drills
- Track non-conformities and ensure timely closure of actions
Qualifications
- Degree in EHS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in safety/compliance in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of regulations and incident investigation methods
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
