About this Role:

Consertus is seeking an Administrative Assistant II to provide administrative support to the LAWA Airport Development Group (ADG) Cost Accounting Team. This role supports a high-volume, dynamic environment and involves coordination of timekeeping processes, budgetary documentation, financial tracking support, and general administrative services.

Location: Los Angeles, CA (LAX / LAWA)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Telework
Schedule: Monday–Friday (standard business hours)

Hybrid Schedule (per LAWA pilot policy):

Telework: Monday and Friday

Onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine and non-routine administrative, clerical, and data collection support under established procedures.
  • Support consultant timekeeping services, including training new timekeeping application users as needed.
  • Prepare and route budgetary memos and requests.
  • Update and maintain:
  • Charge code lists
  • Contract budget authorizations
  • Monthly expenditure data
  • Maintain and organize electronic records/files in shared environments.
  • Gather statistics and data; review, compile, and format information into established internal reports.
  • Scan documents and reports as required.
  • Develop new reports or revise existing reports as directed (spreadsheet, graphical, or narrative formats).
  • Verify data accuracy when required (e.g., match supplier invoices against file copies).
  • Distribute reports as directed by supervisor.
  • Draft correspondence and reports that do not require supervisor’s direct attention.
  • Manage general filing systems and administrative records.
  • Answer phones, screen callers, take messages, and route calls appropriately.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and properly stored documents/supplies.
  • Collaborate productively with internal and external stakeholders to support program goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant administrative experience.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and bring assignments to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, dynamic team environment.
  • Self-starter and strong multi-tasker; accountable and dependable follow-through.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated proficiency with:
    • Keyboarding and general computer skills
    • MS Windows
    • Word processing, spreadsheet, and database software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of TDG policies and procedures
  • Prolog experience

Working Hours & Location: Full-time and exempt role

  • Hybrid work arrangement.
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM –5:00 PM.
  • This position offers a hybrid/telework schedule. Telework - Monday and Friday. Onsite - Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
  • May assume other duties as required/needed.

Hourly Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00
