As part of that change, we are looking for a
PROJECT MANAGER
to join Finnair’s Digital Transformation & Architecture team. In this role, you will lead Finnair’s digital and data-driven transformation initiatives end-to-end — turning strategic investments into measurable business value across the company.
What will you do?
As Project Manager, you will:
Deliver transformation initiatives that drive measurable business value.
Drive business-aligned planning, prioritization, and informed trade-offs.
Lead cross-functional teams and external partners in a matrix environment.
Ensure strong governance, transparent decision-making, and effective Steering Group engagement.
Proactively management of risks, dependencies, and overall delivery quality.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and regulatory requirements.
Secure successful go-lives, including operational readiness, business adoption, and value realization.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a results-driven Project Manager who:
Has a proven track record of delivering complex digital transformation initiatives with measurable business impact.
Thrives in ambiguity and drives clarity, structure, and tangible progress.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills across business and technology audiences.
Leads project teams, stakeholders and vendors effectively in a matrix organization without direct authority.
Combines strong delivery discipline with business acumen and a clear focus on value and results.
Is comfortable operating both at a strategic level and in hands-on execution.
Understands modern digital, data, and cloud-based delivery environments.
Demonstrates strong ownership, accountability, and a drive to deliver outcomes.
Is calm, decisive, and resilient under pressure.
Has familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence and portfolio tooling; project management certification(s) is a plus.
Has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; aviation, travel, logistics or other operationally critical industry experience is an advantage.
