
Chart Assembly Analyst - Surgery Centers - Full Time
Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Chart Assembly Analyst performs a variety of clerical duties, particularly those regarding completion, assembly, and tracking of health information records. The position is responsible for assembly and labeling of medical records, retrieving records, filing loose reports, performing data entry of clinical information, answering telephones and assisting customers.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
EXPERIENCE: Prior experience with medical records; office filing procedures and data entry in windows based system preferred. This position requires the ability to utilize the computer system, the photocopier, and other office equipment. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires near visual acuity, finger and hand dexterity and light lifting up to 20 pounds and under occasionally. This position requires walking, bending, reaching and stooping when accessing files and supplies.

This position reports to department leadership.
