Position Overview

As an HVAC Comfort Advisor, you'll meet with homeowners to evaluate their heating, cooling, air quality, and energy-efficiency needs. Your role is to educate customers, present customized solutions, and guide them toward the best investment for their home and family.

This is a consultative sales position focused on helping customers solve problems—not applying pressure.

What You'll Do

Consultative Selling

  •  Conduct in-home comfort consultations with residential homeowners. 
  •  Evaluate existing HVAC equipment and home comfort concerns. 
  •  Present customized system replacement and upgrade options. 
  •  Educate customers on efficiency, reliability, indoor air quality, and comfort solutions. 
  •  Present financing and payment options that fit customer needs. 
  •  Deliver professional proposals and confidently ask for the sale. 
Customer Experience

  •  Build trust through professionalism, honesty, and expertise. 
  •  Create an exceptional customer experience from the first conversation through project completion. 
  •  Communicate clearly and effectively with homeowners and team members. 
  •  Represent SouthSota One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning with integrity and professionalism. 
Operational Excellence

  •  Follow company sales systems and ethical selling practices. 
  •  Maintain pricing and profitability standards. 
  •  Complete all required documentation accurately and on time. 
  •  Coordinate with installation and operations teams to ensure successful project execution. 
Professionalism & Safety

  •  Maintain a clean and professional appearance. 
  •  Wear floor protection and respect every customer's home. 
  •  Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.

What We're Looking For

Required

  •  Proven success in sales, in-home sales, or customer-facing consultative sales. 
  •  Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. 
  •  Strong work ethic and self-motivation. 
  •  Ability to manage your schedule and follow through on opportunities. 
  •  Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 
  •  Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. 
Preferred

  •  HVAC industry experience. 
  •  Home improvement, remodeling, roofing, windows, solar, plumbing, or other in-home sales experience. 
  •  Experience presenting financing options and closing larger-ticket sales.
