The outpatient therapy team plays a critical role in the health care continuum by providing therapy to a wide variety of pediatric and adult patients across 3 counties to allow them to return to home, work and leisure activities.
Team Impact
As an outpatient physical therapist, you will work synergistically with a team of physical therapist assistants, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, audiologists, exercise physiologist and community physicians. Together, these team members work together to create a supportive work environment through implementing cohesive teamwork strategies and maintaining dedication to their practice.
As a large regional outpatient center, you will have the opportunity to be valued and grow clinically as we have collaborative programs for Alzheimer’s, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, and neurology. We have therapists nationally certified in Key Functional Capacity Evaluations, Lymphedema, LSVT BIG, Pelvic Health, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Strength/Conditioning, Vestibular. The outpatient team also offers aquatic therapy to our patients with a state-of-the-art Hydroworx pool! We have offer services in 6 locations with small and large clinic options or a combination of both.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
Responsibilities
- Provide evaluations and treatments to a variety of patients including orthopedic, neurological, oncology, and general medical and surgical patients consistent with standards of practice
- Demonstrate the knowledge and the skills necessary to manage situations and problems inherent to rehabilitation of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Provide patient focused care and service within a dynamic, supportive environment
Education/Accredited Programs
- Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from a NYS Department of Education accredited program required
- Master’s degree or higher in physical therapy from a NYS Department of Education accredited program preferred
Experience/Abilities
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
Licenses/Certificates/Registrations:
- Current New York State Physical Therapy License or eligibility
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Valid driver’s license required for occasional travel

Salary Range
The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $36.52 to $59.55 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
