Job Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field).
- Minimum of 3 years of technical maintenance experience in manufacturing.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Preferred: 5+ years of engineering experience, with specific experience in facilities and equipment procurement or maintenance.
- Lead and develop the paint maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Schedule and coordinate work across maintenance groups to ensure balanced workload and project completion.
- Perform performance reviews, set goals, and facilitate ongoing training for maintenance staff.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all paint equipment, including robots, spray booths, conveyors, and related systems.
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Monitor equipment performance data to identify trends and implement improvements.
- Support facilities projects, including building additions, equipment upgrades, and renovations, ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Determine project requirements for equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and new installations.
- Prepare specifications, evaluate vendor proposals, and recommend contractors or suppliers.
- Lead or assist in vendor/contractor selection, oversee installation, and ensure project completion within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Lead or support installation, upgrade, and capital projects related to paint equipment and plant facilities.
- Manage work order processes using computerized maintenance management systems (e.g., Maximo).
- Develop long-term maintenance plans, including scheduling of PMs and major repairs.
- Lead root cause analysis and participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and facilities.
