Data Warehouse Support Engineer Expert
Requirements:
Must have:
Over 5 years of experience in Data Warehouse and ETL development
Strong expertise in Snowflake development, tables, views, data navigation, multi‑database connections
Experience with Snowflake features, Snowpipe, APIs, micro‑partitioning, scaling, time travel, fail‑safe
Strong SQL coding skills, query optimization, performance tuning
Experience working with databases, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL
Over 5 years of experience in Matillion, orchestration, transformation jobs, ETL/ELT development
Experience processing structured and semi‑structured data, normalization, denormalization
Understanding of data warehouse architecture, data modeling, data marts, data lakes
Experience connecting on‑premise and cloud data sources
Knowledge of ETL testing and data pipeline management
Strong understanding of data quality, security, and governance principles
Ability to analyze large volumes of data
Strong documentation skills for technical and functional processes
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and support data warehouse and ETL processes
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Matillion
Develop and manage Snowflake data structures, tables, views
Handle data modeling, warehouse architecture, data pipeline management
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple sources, databases, flat files
Ensure data integrity, quality, security, and consistency across systems
Optimize query performance and ETL processing efficiency
Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes and data pipelines
Perform ETL testing and validate data warehouse structures
Administer ETL tools, integrations, performance tuning activities
Support ongoing maintenance and stability of data warehouse environments
Document technical, functional processes, architecture, ETL logic
Collaborate with data teams to provide required data sets
Analyze data volumes, trends, patterns for business insights
Ensure proper functioning and reliability of data after processing
