- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain:
- Tractors, trailers, yard trucks, service vehicles, and shop equipment
- Complete work orders and basic diagnostics using electronic tools
- Repair or replace engine, drivetrain, electrical, communication, onboard tech, and minor HVAC components
- Identify needed parts and recommend repair solutions
- Follow all safety, company, and DOT requirements
- Communicate clearly with associates, vendors, and customers
- Monitor fuel deliveries, collect samples, and complete required paperwork
- Identify warrantable repairs and accurately document condition, cause, and correction
- Process warranty tags and claims per company guidelines
- Valid state-issued driver's license.
- Brake inspection qualification (per FMCSA Section 396.25)
- Vehicle inspection qualification (per FMCSA Section 396.19)
- 2 years' experience in trailer inspection and mechanical repair
- Technical school level coursework in Heavy Duty Truck/Trailer Maintenance.
- Both Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and Department of Transportation (DOT) driver's certification.
- 1 years’ experience in computer applications (for example, email, spreadsheets, word processing).
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are a plus — but we will sponsor you to earn them if you are looking to grow!

The hourly wage range for this position is $30.10 - $33.60* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
