Senior Platform Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join one of our teams - Bluebeam.
YOUR DAILY CHALLENGES
- Build Terraform configurations for deploying .NET microservices into managed AWS environments, composing existing organisational IaC modules and authoring product-specific modules for EKS workloads, managed databases, storage, and supporting infrastructure;
- Define Kubernetes workload configurations for EKS environments, including Helm charts, auto-scaling policies, resource limits, health probes, and container lifecycle settings for .NET services;
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for artefact packaging, security scanning, automated quality gates, and release automation within organisational pipeline standards;
- Create deployment automation tooling, including CLI tools, preflight validation, and upgrade workflows for repeatable, reliable infrastructure rollouts;
- Partner with product development teams on containerization and deployment patterns for .NET microservices.
OUR EXPECTATIONS
- 6+ years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or Infrastructure roles, building production deployment systems
- Strong experience with .NET/C# for containerised microservice deployments, Helm chart configuration, and CI/CD pipeline integration, including understanding .NET runtime behaviour in Linux containers;
- Strong experience with Kubernetes EKS, Lambda, EC2, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, KMS, VPC networking, and multi-account patterns;
- knowledge of Terraform in production, including reusable module design, state management, and multi-environment deployment patterns;
- Experience with designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including artefact management, security scanning integration, and release automation (GitLab and/or GitHub);
- Experience with observability tools and practices for production services (CloudWatch, monitoring dashboards, structured logging);
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Bachelor's degree in computer science studies ;
- Fluent in English.
CONSIDERED A PLUS
- Working familiarity with .NET ot Golang for reading and maintaining existing microservices and Lambda functions;
- Experience designing shared libraries, SDKs, or reusable platform components with published APIs and versioning;
- Experience with Dynatrace or similar observability platforms, and knowledge of OpenTelemetry instrumentation;
- Experience with security scanning tools (Snyk, Wiz) integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
