CAD Technician - Countertops Fabrication

Pay Range: $25.69 - 31.85 hourly Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle   Do you enjoy evaluating the details and creating detailed drawings? As a CAD Drafter/Programer at NFM, you will be responsible for drafting and making corrections to new and existing stone countertop projects.   Job Duties: A Day in the Life Collaborate: Work with measure agents to achieve accurate layout of projects Create: Prepare project layouts using design tools and CAD software Produce: Generate CNC programs from the CAD software Test: Troubleshoot design related issues and monitor, document, and control any changes made to programs Communicate: Coordinate with install and support staff ensure timely fulfillment of projects Support: Track and update status of projects Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love—because that’s what we love.   Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes? High School Diploma or GED preferred 3 or more years of Auto CAD experience required Proficient in Slabsmith, Alpha Cam or similar software Computer skills and ability to navigate through MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
