Position Summary
Cable Dahmer Kia is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Internet Sales Assistant to support our sales team by generating appointments and creating opportunities that drive showroom traffic and overall dealership growth. This position works closely with Sales Management to engage prospective customers, follow up with previous leads, and maintain consistent communication through various marketing campaigns and customer databases within DriveCentric.
The ideal candidate is motivated, organized, and comfortable communicating with customers through phone calls, text messages, and email. Success in this role is measured by appointment generation, appointment show rates, and overall contribution to dealership traffic goals.
This position reports directly to the Sales Management team and participates in daily performance reviews and checkout processes.
What You'll Do
Proactively contact customers to generate an average of five (5) appointments per day.
Follow up with internet leads, campaign leads, orphan customers, and previous prospects using DriveCentric.
Communicate with customers through phone calls, text messaging, and email to answer questions and schedule appointments.
Support weekly appointment-generation initiatives and dealership marketing campaigns.
Maintain accurate customer records and activity notes within DriveCentric.
Create qualified sales opportunities that contribute to dealership traffic and sales goals.
Work closely with the Sales Management team to maximize appointment show rates and customer engagement.
Participate in daily performance reviews and maintain accountability to activity goals.
What We're Looking For
Previous customer service, sales, call center, or automotive experience preferred, but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging customers through multiple communication channels.
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple follow-up activities.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Experience with CRM systems is preferred; DriveCentric experience is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively with the sales team and management.
