Position Summary
Work in collaboration with a skilled care team that includes dedicated providers, benefits specialists, front desk receptionists, behavioral health consultants and others to provide quality health services and resources to meet our patients’ needs.
Assist providers with onsite procedures.
Take vital signs, perform phlebotomy and administer medications/vaccines directly to patients.
Assist patients by responding to questions, returning calls, scheduling appointments and reviewing medical records.
Continue to grow your knowledge base through extensive clinical training and technical training with Epic, one of the leading Electronic Medical Record Systems globally.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program
CPR/Basic Life Support Certification
Minimum of one (1) year experience or clinical externship
Basic proficiency with EMR (Epic preferred)
Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays
Bilingual English/Spanish
