Manager/Director, Marketing Operations — AMEA Lead

Location – Delhi

POSITION OVERVIEW

TrendAI is scaling its global marketing operations capability, and the Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (AMEA) region is a critical engine of that growth. We are hiring a Manager/Director-level leader to serve as the senior marketing operations voice and strategic counterpart for AMEA — guiding the region from within and representing it with authority at the global table.

This is a dual-facing leadership role: inward-facing as a trusted guide and enabler for AMEA marketing teams, and outward-facing as a strategic peer to global leadership, including the Director of Marketing Operations and the European and Japan Marketing Operations Leads. You will help shape how TrendAI's global marketing vision takes root across a diverse, complex, high-growth region.

The role reports to the Director of Marketing Operations within Global Marketing and is part of a global leadership group alongside the European and Japan leads. Japan is a separate region; this role is not responsible for Japan.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Regional Voice & Global Strategic Partner

  • Serve as the primary AMEA voice in global marketing operations leadership discussions, representing the region's needs, nuances, and opportunities with clarity.
  • Act as a strategic peer to the Director of Marketing Operations and the European and Japan leads — contributing to a globally coherent vision while advocating for regional relevance.
  • Translate global TrendAI marketing strategy into AMEA-specific execution frameworks so regional teams understand, align with, and own the broader vision.
  • Bring regional market intelligence to the global conversation — surfacing trends, blockers, and opportunities across AMEA markets early.

Regional Leadership & Enablement

  • Guide and develop AMEA marketing operations teams — providing clear direction, setting standards, and building regional capability over time.
  • Lead a hybrid team structure: direct management of key AMEA marketing operations roles, plus matrix influence across the broader regional marketing community.
  • Navigate diverse AMEA stakeholder contexts, building trust across markets that span very different business environments.
  • Act as a coach and enabler for the region, helping teams execute against global priorities in local contexts.
  • Drive alignment across AMEA marketing teams on campaigns, programs, and operational standards, reducing fragmentation.

Marketing Operations Excellence

  • Lead the design and execution of marketing operations across AMEA, including campaign operations, program management, and go-to-market processes.
  • Champion AI adoption across regional marketing functions — advancing AI-powered tools, workflows, and automation in line with TrendAI's global agenda.
  • Bring foundational fluency in data strategy so regional marketing decisions are insight-driven and connected to the global data framework (dedicated analytics support is provided separately).
  • Partner with sales and marketing technology stakeholders to ensure the martech and sales-tech stack is adopted, leveraged, and optimized across the region.
  • Establish and uphold operational standards, playbooks, and best practices that scale consistently across diverse AMEA markets.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Required

  • AMEA market experience, with demonstrated ability to lead across cultures and geographies.
  • Deep experience driving marketing operations at scale — campaign operations, demand generation infrastructure, and process design.
  • Experience operationalizing global strategies at the regional level in a B2B or enterprise technology environment.
  • A track record of influencing without direct authority — bringing people along through credibility, clarity, and relationships.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to distil complex regional realities into clear strategic narratives for a global audience.
  • Fluency in English; experience working across multiple countries and time zones.

Strongly Preferred

  • Ability to navigate complexity across Southeast Asia, South Asia, Greater China, the Middle East, and/or Africa.
  • Hands-on experience driving or contributing to AI-enabled change in how marketing teams plan, execute, or measure.
  • Working knowledge of data strategy as it relates to marketing — fluent enough to align regional practices to global frameworks (data-engineer depth not required).
  • Familiarity with modern martech and sales-tech ecosystems — marketing automation, CRM, ABM platforms, intent tools, and their integrations.
  • Experience in a matrixed global organization where regional representation and global alignment must both be maintained.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft, D365, Marketo, 6sense, or comparable platforms.
  • Background in enterprise cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology.
  • Additional AMEA language capability beyond English.
