We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our Finance Office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the payment process, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and contributing to financial planning and reporting. Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for a Senior Finance Manager position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor the end-to-end payment process to ensure timely, accurate, and well-controlled payments to vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Review payment proposals, supporting documents, and approval workflows to identify irregularities, exceptions, and potential payment risks.
  • Establish, strengthen, and maintain effective internal controls across accounts payable and payment operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead investigations into payment-related issues, exceptions, and process gaps; recommend practical improvements to enhance efficiency and risk control.
  • Manage budgeting, financial planning, and reporting for assigned portfolios, including operational and capital expenditures.
  • Review balance sheet items, analyze variances, and provide meaningful financial insights to support management decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on finance system and ERP-related enhancement initiatives, including process reviews, user requirements, testing, and implementation support.
  • Prepare management reports and propose practical improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a recognized professional accounting qualification.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in universities, NGOs, or large organizations.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.

(Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
