FCP Standards & Controls is looking for a Transaction Monitoring Specialist, who can assess and document Transaction Monitoring risks, and support on risk-based Transaction Monitoring design and governance.
About the job
Working with financial crime prevention in Saxo, you will take part in our continuous efforts to fight financial crime globally by assessing risks, and implementing controls to ensure our business is compliant with regulations in all the countries where Saxo operates.
The Financial Crime Prevention department is part of 1st line of defense and located in Saxo’s headquarters in Hellerup. We are more than 40 dedicated employees with diverse backgrounds and experience, and we are looking for a new colleague to join our Standards & Controls team. The team is responsible for drafting business procedures and setting requirements for digital KYC processes and risk models, among other things.
You will be working with a wide variety of tasks requiring in-depth understanding of financial crime risks and will collaborate closely with other subject-matter experts, internal control functions and colleagues in the client-facing departments. It is important that you can communicate across organizational levels, and seniorities, and that you are able to make regulatory requirements understandable and operational to the organization.

Responsibilities
- Identify and assess financial crime risks
- Compose and maintain clear policies and procedures for onboarding and ongoing due diligence to mitigate financial crime risks
- Understand, analyse and present the operational implications of new and existing AML regulations and ensure correct implementation in systems, processes, and controls – with the ultimate goal of automating the processes as much as possible.
- Provide concrete and succinct advice and guidance on financial crime compliance to the organization and management.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and guide on industry financial crime risk trends.
Your Profile
You are passionate about Transaction Monitoring and have extensive experience from the banking sector, with at least five years of supporting complex Transaction Monitoring projects. You thrive at the intersection of technology and compliance, combining a strong technical understanding of system solutions with the ability to identify risks, and document procedures and controls.
You bring in-depth knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and the Transaction Monitoring regulatory framework, and you excel at identifying, assessing, and documenting risk.
With strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, you can interpret and apply regulatory requirements to mitigate risk exposure and support informed decision-making. Highly organized and detail-oriented, you manage multiple priorities with ease in a fast-paced environment. Experience working at the interface between regulations and Transaction Monitoring development is essential, and prior engagement with regulatory authorities will be considered a strong advantage.
