As an Agent Contracting Representative, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate processing of new agent contracts, maintaining agent records, and supporting the overall success of the Agent Contracting department.

What you’ll accomplish with us

As an Agent Contracting Representative, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Processing new agent contracts

  • Verifying all required contracting paperwork for new or reinstated agent applicants

  • Following up with applicants, IMOs, and agency managers when paperwork is incorrect or incomplete

  • Building and maintaining agent records, including contracts, licensing, hierarchy, appointments, and AML training

  • Handling phone calls and chats related to contracting questions and issues

  • Processing agent information updates, including address and email changes

  • Terminating agent contracts and state appointments

  • Researching state laws, licensing requirements, appointments, and contracting information on various state insurance department websites

  • Performing additional duties as assigned by leadership

  • Conducting company business in accordance with laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and the iA Financial Group Code of Conduct

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is known for strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrates solid research and problem‑solving abilities

  • Is recognized for strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively

  • Has 2+ years of administrative or customer service experience (preferred)

  • Holds a high school diploma or GED

  • Learns new systems quickly and is proficient with MS Office

  • Works well independently and as part of a team

  • Adapts well to procedural and organizational changes

  • Maintains a friendly, positive, learning‑oriented attitude

  • Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role involves communicating with agents, managers, and internal partners on a daily basis
