The Apparel Print Designer supports QVC and you will create trend appropriate, original fabric and print designs that maintain the product aesthetic and strategy for all brands.
The Print Designer is responsible for all aspects of designing printed, woven and embroidered textiles, including the conception of ideas, execution of engraver ready art, and development of color stories.
Where You'll Work
This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at West Chester, PA several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, DE, and NJ.
Your Opportunity, Your Team
As an Apparel Print & Textile Designer, you'll play a key role in bringing our brands to life through original fabric and print designs. You'll own the creative process from concept to execution, collaborating with design and merchant teams to ensure every product reflects current trends and our brand vision. This is a hands-on, creative role where your expertise in color, pattern, and textile design will directly impact our product lines and customer experience.
You'll join a dynamic team that values innovation, agility, and continuous learning. Your work will help set the tone for our seasonal collections and drive the aesthetic direction of multiple brands.
What You'll Do
Design original prints, yarn dyes, embroideries, and embellishments for multiple apparel brands.
Research and apply current and upcoming trends in women's apparel to your designs.
Develop CAD artwork and color stories, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand strategy.
Maintain and organize CAD files, color references, and development packages in PLM systems.
Provide technical color expertise, using tools like Color Spectrophotometer to ensure consistency and quality.
Initiate lab dip requests and manage color submissions, collaborating with production partners.
Identify and resolve material and color challenges, ensuring best practices in color management.
Collaborate with design and merchant teams, sharing creative ideas and feedback in development meetings.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in apparel print and textile design, with a strong portfolio showcasing original work.
Proficiency in NedGraphics Design or similar textile design software, plus Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong artistic, conceptual, and color sense, with the ability to differentiate the color spectrum.
Experience with PLM systems and technical color management is a plus.
