The Enterprise Digital Experience Team manages product and design for American Express’ proprietary digital experiences, including the Amex Mobile App, americanexpress.com, and Customer Personalization.
We are looking for a Product Director to lead Amex experimentation platform strategy and expand adoption of testing across digital product teams. This leader will manage a team of product managers and experimentation specialists, own the roadmap for Amex’s experimentation platforms, and partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and channel teams to help teams run high-quality experiments at scale.
- Lead the experimentation product team and set the strategy for experimentation across Amex digital experiences
- Own the roadmap for Amex experimentation platforms, including Statsig and xPress.
- Partner with Web, App, Product, Engineering, and Analytics teams to plan, prioritize, and execute testing programs that drive measurable business outcomes
- Define and maintain experimentation playbooks, standards, guidelines, and best practices
- Drive adoption of experimentation through education, communication, and stakeholder engagement
- Promote a test-and-learn culture that supports faster, data-informed product decisions
- Partner with Technology to improve the speed, reliability, and scalability of experiment delivery
- Stay current on experimentation, analytics, product development, and industry trends
- 7+ years of experience in product management, experimentation, analytics, or digital product development.
- Strong understanding of experimentation methods, statistical concepts, testing processes, and product decision frameworks
- Experience defining product strategy, building roadmaps, and aligning cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills and experience using tools such as Adobe Analytics or similar platforms
- Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leaders and influencing stakeholders
- Experience applying build-measure-learn practices or experimentation-driven product development
- People leadership experience, including coaching and developing product managers or product owners
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and comfortable operating with autonomy
- Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
