Job Description

Food Runner   Overview: This team member will maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by insuring quick, efficient, and professional completion of busser duties.       Responsibilities: Servicing all guests in the dining room in every way possible, ensuring the best possible experience in hopes that they will return To comply with attendance and punctuality standards. To comply with uniform standards. To have complete understanding of bussing standards. To have a complete understanding of the menu. To deliver food and beverage accurately to guest and in a timely manner. Needs to be able and willing to learn to utilize table numbers and seat numbers to deliver food. Be friendly and helpful with all guests. Use surnames whenever possible. To comply with food handling standards. Communicate to guests whenever needed. Able to (after being trained) explain food to guests when serving. Able to communicate to bartenders and Kitchen Team Willing to learn basic knowledge about food preferences and allergies. Team player who wants to be the best To complete all assigned duties before checking out and clocking out. Inspecting and manicuring one’s station in the pool bar to ensure that it is immaculate in both cleanliness and presentation. Station set-up and breakdown/side-work. Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.   Qualifications: Previous bussing experience at fine dining establishment preferred. Great customer service skills required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays Must have valid TABC and Food Handlers certification.
