Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Classical Hematologist to join our growing faculty in Cancer Medicine at our downtown Jacksonville campus. This physician will provide outstanding care for our patients with benign hematological conditions and clonal hematological disorders of uncertain significance.
In 2018, Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center opened an iconic 330,000 square foot patient-centered, state-of-the-art facility dedicated solely to the full spectrum of hematology and oncology care. Our Cancer Center surrounds each patient and family with compassionate care and healing art with over 800 unique paintings and sculptures.

The successful candidate will:
- Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology with a record of clinical and academic achievement in classical hematology or other areas.
- Demonstrate a passion and commitment to multidisciplinary care.
- Fully support the clinical, research and educational missions of our program.
- Establish and maintain active clinical practice.
- Clinical research experience and prior educational activities is desirable.
Qualified candidates will be considered 1) for an adjunct academic appointment at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston commensurate with their accomplishments and 2) for leadership opportunities within the hematology program and Cancer Medicine (including roles in programmatic development, research and quality).
