How you’ll make an impact in this role

This position resides under The Resource Group, an end-to-end supply chain partner to healthcare organizations across the United States, wholly-owned by Ascension. At The Resource Group, we build strong relationships with provider teams, working alongside them to improve supply chain operations and lower non-payroll expenses, all in support of delivering quality patient care. Responsibilities for this role can be found below:

• Serve as a strategic partner to regional leadership and key stakeholders, delivering insights, project planning support, and decision guidance that accelerates new product evaluations, drives standardization, advances priority initiatives, and ensures alignment with national strategies and contract commitments.

• Oversee the development and deployment of scalable implementation tools, automated reporting templates, and data-driven workflows (e.g., SQL-powered models, Tableau dashboards, Smartsheet/Google-based trackers), enhancing consistency, reducing conversion timelines, and improving visibility into current strategies.

• Bridge communication and workflow gaps between clinical, operational, and supply chain leaders to proactively support complex operational challenges, inform contracting strategies, drive cost-savings initiatives, and oversee other priority initiatives.

• Guide comprehensive business intelligence strategy by integrating and analyzing data from clinical, financial, procurement, inventory, and contracting systems to support end-to-end visibility, producing actionable deliverables and market-level business reviews that inform decision-making for operational leaders, clinicians, and key stakeholders.

• Drive market and system level savings performance, including the identification, validation, and reporting of savings opportunities, using structured methodologies and cross-functional collaboration to consistently achieve targeted cost reduction goals.

• Partner with local and national finance teams to deliver supply expense variance and cost per case analyses, providing clinical and operational leaders with clear insights that strengthen business reviews and support strategic decision making.
