Purpose:To transport hotel guests to designated destinations in the Orlando area. When not providing transportation services, this role will be staged at the entrance of the resort where they will greet guests, creating a memorable first impression.
Essential Functions:
Drive shuttle vehicle to and from designated destinations in a timely manner
Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speed in difficult situations, such as inclement weather and heavy traffic
Greet guests and provide on boarding assistance
Ensure cleanliness of shuttle vehicle; including interior and exterior
Inspect vehicle daily and report any damage or safety concerns immediately to management
Maintain accurate log of vehicle maintenance
Report any safety concern immediately to management
Maintain accurate log of services rendered
Create memorable experience during transportation service
Maintain 4-Star/4-Diamond standards of guest service.
Accept other special duties as requested by management.
Assist in keeping front entrance clean and tidy
Understand all emergency procedures
Understand all amenities and services offered at the Resort and local area
Understand all Moments of Service scenarios
When not providing shuttle services this associate will assume the role of doorperson which includes the following responsibilities:
Greet guests and welcome to hotel.
Supervise and maintains traffic flow through front drive.
Assist in keeping front entrance clean and tidy
Tags bags with proper claim checks and give the guest his/her claim ticket for the luggage.
Unloads the baggage from the car or taxi and brings inside to the Bell Stand.
Loads car/taxi for departing guests making sure to thank them for choosing the hotel
Understand all emergency procedures
Ensure cleanliness and organization of Bell Stand and Bell Closet
Accept other special duties as requested by management.
Working Environment:
Interior and on occasion exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
May require working overnight shift.
Physical Job Requirements (for essential functions only)
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
Ability to bend and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to withstand extreme heat and cold weather conditions Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
Qualifications:
Highly motivated self-starter focused on quality, organization, guest service and teamwork.
Outgoing, friendly personality
Possess a valid driver’s license
Flexible schedule; including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Attain a high propensity for customer service Relevant hospitality and/or customer service/administrative experience
The ability to work in a fast-paced high pressure work environment while executing delegated tasks and assignments
Willing to undergo DOT background check and drug test
