What you’ll be doing:
  • Develop and maintain detailed internal customer profiles in CargoWise, ensuring all departments have access to accurate and comprehensive customer information.
  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations to customers, assisting them in selecting the most appropriate solutions for their freight and logistics needs, including preparing quotations as required.
  • Coordinate shipment bookings and validate ocean/air freight from origin to destination, ensuring timely updates and tracking information are communicated to customers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email, delivering exceptional customer service and managing special requests to build strong client relationships.
  • Manage daily communications related to assigned accounts, directing customer concerns to the appropriate departments when necessary to ensure swift resolution.
  • Sending new shipment bookings to customers.
  • Validating and confirming all ocean/air shipment bookings from origin to destination, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Trace empty containers and ensure their timely return or apply per diem billing when necessary.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

Who you are:
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in international business or equivalent experience
  • Around one year of experience in an administrative/clerical type role
  • You possess knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Your strengths are prioritizing, working in a fast-paced environment, you’re customer-oriented and have a good sense of urgency
  • Advanced English level is a must
Work Schedule
  • GDL Office 7:00AM-4:00PM / 8:00AM-5:00PM CST
