Your Role at Cabot:

You will lead a team of General ledger process specialists responsible for EMEA and NA regions. Focus on team performance, people growth, development and alignment within the team and regions. Build relationships with site Finance Managers, supervise, and guide the successful completion of a process specific project within Cabot.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Support provider and first point of contact for questions regarding the specific processes.
• Workload monitoring for the team.
• Subject matter expert, especially for more advanced or complex activities.
• Prepare and execute processes related to month end closing activities.
• Ensure process compliance with appropriate global accounting standards (policies, processes, procedures, work instructions).
• Ability to cover peer colleague responsibilities upon request. Additional projects and responsibilities as delegated from the manager. Mentoring and training upon need.
• Be part of process implementation, alignment, and change, analyze performance of the team, represent the team in areas under one’s responsibility. Leads team projects and participate in the ones where the team is involved.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Assisting in the development of project plans, including creating timelines, identifying resources, and establishing key milestones
• Facilitating effective collaboration and communication among project team members. Conducting regular team meetings to provide updates, address issues, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Maintaining project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and other relevant records. Generating and presenting project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.

What You Will Bring to Cabot

• A few years’ experience in a financial, accounting services or other business services functions.

• Solid proficiency in finance & accounting, including sound knowledge of the relevant processes.

• Leading projects in the team with small supervision.

• Ability to train and explain.

• Strong English skills.

• Computer literate (MS Office, Lotus Notes, Finance module of an ERP system).

Additional Information:

• Temporary 1.5 years contract with possibility of extension.

• Working hours: 9:00 - 17:30.

• Health insurance from first day of work.

• Monthly allowance & yearly bonus. 

• Hybrid work schedule (3 days on site and 2 days’ work from home).

• Salary:1900 - 2600 EUR Gross. The final salary offer will depend on the candidate’s previous experience and qualifications.

• Ability to work during the End-of-Month closing activity from 14:00 - 22:30.
