What You'll Be Doing
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mobile equipment including loaders, haul trucks, bulldozers, and support vehicles.
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
Execute hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical repairs using appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment status to team members and supervisors.
Follow safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safe, efficient operations.
What Are We Looking For
Demonstrated capability to maintain and repair heavy mobile equipment systems (diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical).
Ability to interpret service manuals, schematics, and diagnostic data to resolve issues effectively.
Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all safety standards.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights as needed.
Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
Visual and auditory ability to safely operate equipment and identify issues.
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
