Job Description
OVERVIEW
The Machine Operator plays an important role in the Distribution Warehouse team and is responsible to receive, handle, process, and ship all of IEWC’s customer materials while maintaining our reputation for operational excellence and premier customer service. The Machine Operator has the responsibility to convert inventory to a customer product by using small or large (TULSA) respooling machines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Use SAP software to review the product detail for each order.
Use various tools (RF Scanner, Caliper, micrometer) to validate raw material or validate customer order.
Set up respooling machine for each order based upon customer requirements and run the customer order in accordance with IEWC respooling standards.
Prepare appropriate packaging to ready product for shipment.
Ensure unused product is prepared for return to inventory.
Report any product damages or discrepancies to appropriate individuals.
Perform preventative maintenance as required on respooling machines.
Meet or exceed daily production targets
Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
Maintain a clean and efficient work area to the IEWC 5S standards.
Regularly seek ways to improve the way we work and actively participate in process improvement initiatives.
Treat all coworkers, customers, and suppliers in a helpful and professional manner.

Position Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience: High School graduate (or GED) preferred; a minimum of three years of related experience preferred.
Technology Skills: Ability to use the basic required company software, tablets, or systems. Ability to use SAP software.
Physical Demands: Ability to meet the physical demands for the job.

Occasionally is exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration.
Personal Protective Equipment: Requires the use of safety shoes, eye protection, and fall protection.
