Role and Responsibilities

• Provide routine geriatric health care services to residents in an assigned area based on resident needs.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living.
• Provide engagement to residents in a way that honor their preferences and encourage residents to participate in Life Enrichment events.
• Taking and recording vital signs and other data regarding the resident’s physical and mental status.
• Participate in resident care planning
• Participate in peer reviews to monitor quality care issues.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current listing as Nurse Aide on the NC Department of Facilities Services Nurse Aide Registry without substantial findings
• CPR Certification-Adult Module(American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
