Job Description

Basic Function: The Contracts Manager will assist with drafting, revising, negotiating, finalizing, and maintaining contract documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, evaluate, review, edit, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts covering a range of transactions.
  • Ensure WireMaster’s contract documents are accurate and well maintained and renewal timelines are tracked.
  • Provide advice and guidance to the different teams within WireMasters relating to contract generation and interpretation.
  • Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide bid document management and strategy support for new business opportunities.
  • Attend training activities to gain adequate knowledge and participate as a subject matter expert for training on contracts administration and bid management.
  • Review contracts for conformance to company policy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes.
  • Support WireMasters culture of quality.

Requirements:

 

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in related field OR two (2) or more years in a similar position or related field. Juris Doctorate degree preferred, but not required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Legal Terminology.
  • Organization and attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy and telephone etiquette.
  • Confidentiality, Negotiation, and Professionalism.
  • Time management and problem solving.
