Pay $19.00 - $28.00 per hour DOE (Rate will depend on experience and qualifications).
Job Description:
This entry-level to early-career position works closely with HVAC Journeyman and lead Installers while learning proper installation techniques, safety standards, and trade skills. The ideal candidate is motivated, dependable, and interested in building a long-term career in the HVAC trade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of residential HVAC systems in new construction homes
- Support installation of furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, refrigerant lines, and related components
- Load, stage, and transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
- Follow mechanical plans, work orders, and supervisor instructions
- Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
- Comply with all safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures
- Observe and learn proper HVAC installation techniques and best practices
- Accurately complete assigned job documentation as directed
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of HVAC installation experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely (training provided)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently under supervision and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders
- Comfort working in occupied residential environments
- OSHA 10 certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
