Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
- Maintain accurate medication records and patient profiles.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff.
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Support medication therapy management initiatives.
- Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities.
- Handle prescription refills and medication orders efficiently.
- Stay updated on industry trends and pharmacy regulations.
Requirements:
- Current California Pharmacy Technician License required.
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred, especially in skilled nursing settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of pharmacy software and medication management systems.
- Flexible availability to work on an as-needed basis.
