This position is responsible for supervising a crew in the maintenance of trees on city property. Supervises, trains, and evaluates employees. Inspects and maintains vehicle and equipment. Trains personnel in the operation of a bucket truck, chipper, and a chipper truck. Prunes and removes trees; operates a chipper. Trains and supervises personnel in the use of safety procedures and the procedures for trimming and removing trees. Flags traffic; brings vehicles and pedestrians through the work site safely.
