Job Description

Hansel Ford is looking for an experienced Dealership Parts Counter Professional to join our awesome team! This individual needs to understand customer needs and be able to utilize our electronic parts catalog to locate the right parts.


Pay Scale

The monthly Parts Counterperson compensation is expected to range from $40,000 - $75,000.00, depending on job performance/qualifications.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Greet customers with a smile
  • High level of customer service
  • Look up parts using electronic parts catalog
  • Maintain a clean and neat showroom
  • Discuss parts and other products with enthusiasm
  • Inventory maintenance
  • Understand all aspects of parts department
  • Rotate between front and back counters as needed


Pay Defined: The Parts Counterperson position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $18.31 plus performance bonuses. The performance bonus may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2 years of experience at a Dealership Parts Counter
  • Knowledge in CDK data management system
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of cars and trucks especially helpful
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Work well with deadlines
  • Maintain a high level of performance
  • Familiarity with Parts
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Work well with co-workers
  • Pass a criminal background screening
  • Pass a drug test
