Lake Quivira is a beautiful private, gated community nestled around a stunning 224-acre lake near Shawnee, Kansas. Home to one of the premier private clubs in the Kansas City area, Lake Quivira offers residents and members a unique lifestyle centered around family, recreation, and community—including a vibrant preschool program at the heart of our Community Center.
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and organized Preschool Director to lead our preschool program and help create an exceptional learning environment for our youngest learners.

What You’ll Do
As Preschool Director, you will oversee the daily operations and educational success of the preschool program by:
- Developing and maintaining preschool curriculum for each grade level
- Creating school calendars and planning annual programming
- Hiring, supervising, mentoring, and evaluating preschool staff
- Maintaining student files, attendance, incident reports, and regulatory paperwork
- Ensuring compliance with licensing and government regulations
- Collaborating with Community Center leadership on marketing and program development
- Hosting Back-to-School Night and Open House events
- Approving enrichment programming and ensuring age-appropriate learning materials
- Maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming preschool environment
- Purchasing and managing classroom/school equipment and supplies

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in education
- CPR Certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
