Join Gallagher as a Regional Manager, leading high-performing teams in Wellington, Kapiti, and Lower Hutt. In this key role, you will report directly to the Executive Branch, you’ll drive success by delivering outstanding client outcomes and living Gallagher’s values. As Regional Manager, you’ll be responsible for branch revenue, profitability, staff engagement, and delivering excellent client service. Working with the local management team and Gallagher’s Executive, you’ll help create and implement strategic plans to achieve sustainable growth, profitability, and client retention. You’ll ensure compliance, provide quality advice, and focus on customer outcomes, all while leading with a hands-on approach. Additionally, you’ll also lead change initiatives, promote creativity, innovation, and adaptability to maintain strong performance. How you'll make an impact Key responsibilities include business strategy and planning, people & relationship management, branch growth and regulatory compliance. Responsible for developing and executing business unit strategy aligned with company and market needs. Align people capability and business approach to deliver exceptional service, meet regulatory standards, and address client needs. Set and achieve business targets, including new business, retention, and premium goals. Drive team alignment with company priorities, provide performance feedback, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives. Foster a positive team culture through trust, respect, and open communication. Ensure adherence to service standards, regulatory requirements, and effective decision-making. Support and coach team members in building strong client relationships and delivering trusted advice. Develop and refine processes to exceed service delivery expectations, team efficiency and productivity. Promote Gallagher’s reputation through ethical, professional, and trusted client advice. About you Experience in managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and leading a team to achieve great results. Strong understanding of regulations, with excellent communication skills that inspire confidence and work well with different audiences. Business-minded with a focus on strategy and a track record of finding and growing new business opportunities. Skilled at creating and delivering business plans. Great at building and maintaining relationships, including working effectively with people at all levels and networking with insurance partners. Able to think creatively to solve problems and improve processes by questioning current practices in a constructive way.
