Administration Assistant

Dubbo Community Corrections

 

            Location – Dubbo, Western NSW

Employment type – Full-Time 12 month role with the possibility of extension or permanency!                

Salary $75,728 - $82,329 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading

 

Your role

The role performs administrative and reception services to internal and external clients to support the delivery of quality services for the organisation.  It also undertakes a range of administrative support services relating to the business, including non-complex client matters, word processing, data entry, preparing correspondence, taking minutes, maintaining electronic and file records and support with meetings and events.

This role especially requires the applicant to provide a service to our community and the staff and clients of our agency. What you’ll do

Reporting to the Administrative Supervisor, you will work within a team of 4 as well as within a larger multidisciplined team within an office environment.The successful candidate for this position will be someone who always displays integrity and is a true team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will always maintain confidentiality whilst utilising your proven experience to meet the demands of this role effectively. Resilience, initiative, high attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to work under pressure are the key attributes to succeed in this fast-paced role. What we’re looking for

Applicants will have previous administration experience with a focus on accuracy, demonstrated high level of computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite of programs, have competency in applications such as record management, be able to work independently and show demonstrated initiative along with the capability to learn and grow professionally to understand a complex and at times demanding role.

Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce reoffending and create safer communities. We house remand and sentenced inmates in correctional centres and supervise offenders serving orders in the community.

CSNSW provides reports and advice to courts and releasing/parole authorities and assesses offenders in the community and in custody for relevant interventions to reduce their risks of reoffending. CSNSW works in partnership with other government and non-government justice and human services agencies to support victims, facilitate restorative justice and promote reintegration.
