Key Roles & Responsibilities: What are the core elements of the job duties, the primary day-to-day responsibilities & activities
- Functions as a scientist to develop new and optimized formula that support the overall activities supporting key clients and overall Griffith Foods business strategy.
- Applies scientific principles in research, development, production technology.
- Collaborates with Supply Chain to link product formulation activities to commercial fulfillment efficiencies and production of safe and regulatory compliant food products.
- Supports Innovation activities that support the long-term strategy of the organization.
Functional Knowledge: Describe breadth and depth of knowledge of functional work and activities required
- Functions as a Specialist to provide consultation to various functional departments.
- Support initiatives to expand core capabilities, with focus on Food Science, Health & Nutrition as well as all other new capabilities. This includes thought leadership on new capabilities needed to support technical excellence.
Business Expertise: Describe knowledge and expertise required about the business and industry in which the business functions
- Communicates internally with other Griffith Foods business units to exchange technical information and project timing. Communicates externally with customers, processors, and suppliers.
