JOB SUMMARY
Neonatologist – Division of Neonatology – East Tennessee State University – Mild 4-Season Climate, Situated in the Central Appalachian Highlands.
The Department of Pediatrics at East Tennessee State University, Quillen College of Medicine, is seeking a full-time Neonatologist to join this division at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor and the rank will be commensurate with academic experience. This is a non-tenure track position. The position is a joint hire with Medical Education Assistance Corporation (MEAC).
Responsibilities of the Neonatologist include providing clinical care for a 39-bed level III NICU with in-house nurse practitioners, outpatient high-risk neonatal follow-up, the teaching of medical students and pediatric residents, quality improvement, and academic pursuits. We have over 800 NICU admissions per year at Niswonger Children’s Hospital, with air and ground transport systems available. An active perinatology division for maternal evaluation and management is also present through the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MD/DO
- Completion of Neonatology fellowship.
- Board Certified in Pediatrics.
- BC/BE in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
