Why This Role Is Right for You
As a Head of Customer Due Dilligence, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Rzeszów/ Poznań/ Warszawa.
Responsible for overseeing customer compliance (KYC/AML), managing relationships with supervisory authorities and auditors, as well as ensuring effective risk and incident management.
This role is critical to the organization’s operational security, regulatory compliance, and transparent reporting to the Management Board and senior leadership, operating in a highly dynamic and evolving regulatory environment.
About Your Future Role
In this position, you will:
• Strategic leadership of the Customer Compliance Department, including expert and managerial teams
• Ownership of relationships with regulators, supervisory authorities, and internal and external auditors, including preparation for inspections and audits
• Oversight of KYC/AML risk identification, assessment, and management processes, including customer onboarding, EDD, ODD, and ongoing monitoring
• Management of regulatory and operational incidents, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• Supervision of approval workflows and customer documentation archiving processes (both physical and digital)
• Ensuring full compliance of the company’s operations with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and payment scheme guidelines
• Monitoring regulatory changes (AML, sanctions, due diligence) and ensuring their effective implementation across the organization
• Regular reporting of key risk indicators and compliance metrics to the Management Board and senior leadership, including strategic recommendations
• Close cooperation with the Management Board, Compliance, Legal, IT, and other departments within the Operations Division
• Development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and standards
• Department budget management, process optimization, and support for automation initiatives
• Development of organizational capabilities and promotion of a strong compliance culture

Essential Qualifications:
• Several years of experience in a managerial or director-level role within Compliance, AML, KYC, or Risk
• In-depth knowledge of AML regulations, international sanctions, payment scheme guidelines, and customer due diligence processes
• Proven experience working with regulators and auditors
• Experience managing expert teams and geographically distributed structures
• Ability to operate effectively in a highly regulated environment (finance, fintech, banking, payments)
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and risk management skills
• Strategic mindset with the ability to lead organizations through change
• Very good command of English (minimum B2+), enabling work in an international environment
• Willingness to travel for business purposes (approx. 5–8 days per month)
• University degree
Bonus Skills:
• Experience in payment institutions, fintech companies, or financial institutions
• Participation in transformation, automation, or centralization projects related to KYC/AML processes
• Experience in group-level management reporting
