Equipment Maintenance Specialist Team Lead

The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Equipment Maintenance Specialist Team Lead to join the Emergent Operations PEM Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift.
The expectation is for the team lead to conduct their existing technician work in addition to the position responsibilities outlined below.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs maintenance on factory equipment
Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary to use knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Uses and interprets advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment
Responds to requests for equipment repair
Maintains and manages component and replacement part inventories
Works under limited supervision
Leads the team through daily BPS Tier boards and is responsible for updating the metrics
Understands and communicates current issues facing their specific MBU across all shifts.
Looks for deviations for any issue that arises outside of standard work and resolves those issues to the best of their ability or documents process improvements moving forward
Balances team resources and fill in gaps where needed to complete standard work
Checks all process
Ensures standard work plan is completed on time and to the level of quality necessary to support our Business Partners
Audits PMs to assess work instructions, quality of work, and provides feedback to the manager
Supports team in reactive troubleshooting, repairs, and planned/project work
Plans, communicates, and executes PEM support required for daily Emergent Operations support, weekends, and production shutdown periods
Acts as manager delegate at Business Partner meetings as needed. Completes team lead
standard work.
Maintain all necessary certifications to perform as Team Lead and Production Equipment Maintenance Specialist

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC (BSC)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or fabrication
3+ years of experience performing plant equipment maintenance and/or production equipment maintenance
3+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
3+ years of experience Digital volt meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC power supplies, frequency generators, and/or power meters
1+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications
1+ years of experience with 787 program operations
1+ year of formal and/or informal leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Experience with automation systems maintenance, robotics systems, and various types of equipment controllers, such as Siemens 840D, Fanuc, and Allen Bradley
Experience troubleshooting and operating PLCs (preferably Siemens and Allen Bradley)
