Job Title: Treasury Risk Management - AVP

Role Description
- The Chief Risk Office function has Group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market, operational, enterprise and liquidity risks, and is responsible for the continuous development of risk measurement methodologies and frameworks, fostering a strong bank-wide risk culture.
- Enterprise and Treasury Risk Management (ETRM) is a function within the Chief Risk Office. ETRM provides a holistic view of risk by working across risk types, businesses, and geographies. ETRM has responsibility for risk strategy & appetite, risk research, stress testing, cross-risk portfolio management, liquidity, treasury climate & environmental risk, and is also the risk controlling function for credit risk.
- The role comprises two primary focus areas within Liquidity Risk Management (LRM). The first part of the role focuses on newly established LRM activities within the data management and reporting control framework.
- The second part relates to multi-country liquidity risk coverage, with responsibilities spanning selected non-core entities. These are important topics within LRM, offering regular interaction with Senior Liquidity Risk Managers and good opportunities for learning and development.

Your key responsibilities
- Contribute to the regular review and challenge of the reporting related controls performed by the liquidity risk reporting functions
- Perform ongoing data and reporting controls, including data analysis and sample testing related to key liquidity risk metrics (e.g., NSFR, LCR and stress testing)
- Contribute to the further development of the Liquidity Risk Management reporting control framework
- Perform Liquidity Risk Management activities for selected legal entities across multiple countries, including:
- Participate in local ALCO and related governance forums
- Monitoring, review and recalibration of liquidity limits
- Management of escalations, limit breaches and other entity-specific liquidity risk exercises
- Local Regulatory engagements
- Engage with global senior leadership and subject matter experts across multiple disciplines (Market, Credit and Non-Financial Risk, as well as Treasury, Compliance, Legal and Finance)
- Support ad hoc queries from senior management, regulators and audit
- Support improvements in automation and the use of AI-enabled solutions, where appropriate
Your skills and experience
Education and Experience:
- Relevant university degree (Master) or equivalent necessary.
- 10+ years of professional experience, including relevant experience in liquidity analytics and/or reporting.
- High proficiency in Business Objects and MS Office (Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
- Understanding of macroeconomic and geopolitical developments is advantageous
- Ability to influence and build relationships
- A strong communicator, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
Competencies:
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and challenge data.
- Solid understanding of (or ability to rapidly learn) core liquidity risk concepts and metrics.
- Hands-on working approach with good analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Confidence in challenging the status quo and superior relationship management skills
- Ability to present information to senior management in an appropriate way (quality & format)
- Ability to independently liaise with senior management (incl. MD level)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects at once and within tight timeframes
- Confident in handling and analysing large volumes of data
- Proficient in Business Objects and Microsoft Office skills, i.e. Excel, Access and PowerPoint
