BASIC PURPOSE:
Serve as the primary finance lead and operational finance partner for the Company’s destinations portfolio, including private island destinations Great Stirrup Cay and Harvest Caye. This role functions as a business-unit finance/controller lead responsible for maintaining destination P&Ls, overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes, consolidating financial performance across destination-related businesses, and ensuring accurate operational and financial reporting. The position partners closely with brand finance and commercial teams, corporate finance, accounting, and operational leadership.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain the full P&L reporting and forecasting processes for the Company’s private island destinations, including Great Stirrup Cay and Harvest Caye, ensuring accurate financial visibility into operational performance and key business drivers.
- Serve as the primary finance partner to Destination Services leadership, providing financial oversight, performance analysis, and decision support across shore excursions, hotels, transfers, land programs, and other destination-related businesses.
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the destinations portfolio, including assumption development, consolidation, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
- Lead financial reporting and business reviews, delivering actionable insights on revenue, costs, profitability, and key operating metrics to senior leadership.
- Partner with brand finance, revenue management, corporate finance, accounting, and operations teams to ensure alignment of financial assumptions, reporting methodologies, accruals, and forecasts.
- Participate in month-end and quarter-end close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting, variance analysis, and financial accountability across destination operations.
- Evaluate business initiatives, operational changes, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities through financial analysis and business case development.
- Establish and maintain financial controls, reporting standards, and governance processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accountability across the destinations portfolio.
- Support executive presentations, business reviews, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc analyses as requested by senior leadership.
- Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
