The Corrosion Engineering Team 2 is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of critical infrastructure assets through assessment, testing, and continuous improvement efforts. The team focuses on evaluating materials, supporting asset rehabilitation, and investigating failures to help maintain safe and dependable operations. As an Assistant Engineer I, you will join a collaborative team environment that supports learning, development, and hands-on experience across a variety of engineering functions.
What You’ll Do
• Learn and assist with infrastructure reliability assessments
• Support construction materials performance testing and evaluation efforts
• Help develop and implement solutions to prevent infrastructure failures and rehabilitate assets
• Learn and assist with forensic investigations related to materials and metallurgy
• Support efforts to ensure compliance with reliability and performance standards
• Collaborate with engineers, operations staff, and external partners
• Build foundational engineering skills through hands-on projects and field support
