
Cook Intermediate-Full Time, Hell's Kitchen (Caesars Atlantic City)
Job Description
This position responsible for the preparation of food items and specialty dishes as designated by pre planned menus while displaying a strong commitment to customer service through the delivery of our service standards, safety procedures and standard operating procedures. $22.50 per hour
• Receives food orders and prepares according to desired request.
• Assures that presentation is timely and meets quality standards.
• Communicates to management the need for supplies and equipment.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean work area and ensures proper sanitation procedures are followed.
• Assures quality production levels are maintained.
• Assists in the control of food and labor costs by eliminating waste and over production.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in different areas of kitchen preparation.
• Ability to read and write English sufficiently to perform job.
• Must be able to walk and stand during shift
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, pull and/or push up to 100 pounds
• Ability to grasp, hold, reach, bend, push-pull, stoop, twist, kneel and crouch.
• Must be able to work in extreme heat, cold, humid and noisy environment
