Job Description
- Lead the implementation of the SPS Package Quality Management System (QMS).
- Develop and drive the overall quality strategy for the SPS package.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company standards.
- Review and approve Project Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and quality documentation.
- Oversee contractor, subcontractor, and vendor quality performance throughout engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, and installation.
- Manage vendor surveillance activities across global manufacturing locations.
- Coordinate Third-Party Inspection (TPI) and certification activities.
- Lead quality audits, inspections, and surveillance programmes.
- Manage non-conformances (NCRs), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor quality KPIs and provide regular reporting to project management.
- Ensure timely completion of Quality Dossiers, Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs), and certification packages.
- Liaise with the Project Quality Manager, inspectors, contractors, and key project stakeholders.
- Promote the highest standards of HSE, ethics, and quality throughout project execution.
- Minimum 15 years' experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
- At least 10 years' experience working on Subsea Production Systems (SPS).
- Previous experience in a QA/QC Lead or Quality Management role on major EPC/EPCI projects.
- Strong knowledge of subsea equipment, including trees, manifolds, umbilicals, and control systems.
- Proven experience managing vendor surveillance and global manufacturing quality.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Knowledge of international industry standards, including API, ISO, and DNV.
- Experience managing quality audits, inspections, NCRs, CAPA, and quality KPIs.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (or equivalent) certification is desirable.
- Experience working in multicultural, international project environments.
- Previous TotalEnergies project experience is advantageous.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Starting date: September 2026
- Duration: 12 months
- Location: UK based initially (Montrose and/or Bristol), frequent travel to other locations globally. Re-location to Baku for installation phase.
