- Safely transporting and delivering rental equipment to customer locations.
- Loading, securing, and unloading equipment in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
- Conducting and documenting pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Demonstrating proper operation and safety procedures for delivered equipment.
- Inspecting equipment upon delivery and pickup and documenting any damage or maintenance concerns.
- Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and communication with dispatch and store personnel.
- Ensuring trucks, trailers, and transport equipment remain clean and properly maintained.
- Observing and reporting mechanical or safety issues promptly.
- Maintaining all required certifications, inspections, and medical compliance.
- Valid Class A CDL Driver's License required with manual transmission experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of CDL driving experience strongly preferred.
- Experience hauling equipment, construction equipment, or oversized loads preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe load securement practices.
- Experience in construction or equipment rental industry preferred.
- Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations:
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance
- Leaving the scene of an accident
- Committing a felony with a motor vehicle
- Reckless driving
- Excessive speed
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Self-starter motivated to provide exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time and perform tasks such as walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
- Ability to lift 70 pounds for short periods, often several times per day.
- Ability to safely climb on and off trailers and equipment.
