As a Piping/Mechanical Inspector, to support inspection and quality control activities across construction projects. This role will ensure piping installation, fabrication, and testing activities are carried out in accordance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards.
To succeed in this role, you will need hands-on experience in piping inspection, strong technical knowledge of construction and QA/QC processes, and the ability to work effectively on site to ensure quality delivery across project activities.

What you’ll do
We are looking for a Piping/Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Bangkok office
The role responsibilities include:
· Perform inspection and monitoring of piping construction, fabrication, and installation activities (aboveground and underground)
· Verify piping alignment, fit-up, welding, and installation in accordance with approved drawings and procedures
· Witness and monitor testing activities, including hydrostatic testing and inspection of piping systems
· Conduct final walkdowns and line checks for piping systems prior to handover
· Review method statements, JSA, and relevant work procedures for piping works
· Monitor coating, blasting, painting, and wrapping activities to ensure compliance with specifications
· Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and client representatives on inspection activities
· Follow up construction progress and prepare daily inspection and activity reports
· Perform QA/QC control activities and ensure proper documentation of inspection records
· Support site teams in resolving quality issues and ensuring compliance with project requirements
What you’ll have
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
· Technical background or certification in welding, piping, or mechanical discipline
· Relevant NDT certifications such as ASNT Level II (RT, MT, PT)
· Solid experience in piping inspection within oil & gas, pipeline, refinery, or petrochemical projects
· Strong knowledge of piping installation, welding, alignment, and testing processes
· Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, inspection documentation, and reporting
· Ability to interpret drawings, inspection reports, and radiographic films
· Good coordination and communication skills, able to work with site teams and contractors
· Given the necessity of interacting with Thai-speaking clients, Thai language is essential.
