Job Overview
Komatsu is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Lexington, KY at their Remanufacturing facility. This is a 2nd shift position.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Work safely and follow all KEC/Customer safety policies and procedures.
- Complete related paperwork and access databases require to complete job (work order, parts order, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, STW) accurately and timely.
- Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
- Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
- Ability to provide accurate quotes and pricing estimates to the customer.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs.
- Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
- Apply general failure analysis and procedures to determine proper diagnosis.
Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance
- Minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting cranes is preferred.

- Ability to write simple correspondence

- Knowledge of database software, Internet software, manufacturing software and order processing systems
